MMA Combat - Machida Declines Evans Rematch at UFC 133
Wednesday, July 13, 2011, former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida (17-2-0) will not compete at UFC 133 against Rashad Evans as the fighter simply had too little time to prepare for the rematch that would have considerable title-shot implications, although that was not guaranteed by UFC brass when in talks with the Brazilian star over the past 24 hours.
