UFC light heavyweights Jon "Bones" Jones (13-1-0) and Quinton "Rampage" Jackson (32-8-0) will make an appearance Monday, September 19, on the Jimmy Kimmel Live! show which airs on ABC at 12am ET/PT.
The two men will discuss their upcoming main-event bout at UFC 135 in Denver, Colorado, live from the Pepsi Center, where Jones will look to defend his 205lbs title against a former champion in "Rampage". Jon Jones captured the promotion championship in March of this year, handily defeating Mauricio "Shogun" Rua in the Brazilian's first title defence. In fact, no 205lbs champion has defended the title more than once since Chuck Liddel's reign, seven champions ago.
Since losing the title to Forrest Griffin in 2008, Jackson has gone 4-1 inside the octagon losing only to current number one contender, "Suga" Rashad Evans in that stretch. Jackson most recently appeared at UFC 130 where he defeated tough wrestler Matt Hamill via unanimous decision.
